To create an instant buzz on social media for Shoppers Stop, Blink got the country together in the most dramatic way! Along with Contract Advertising, we created a hashtag #sstweetstore whereby customers who tweeted together, shopped together — hence a blazing Twitter interaction was set into motion. Customers could tweet for a particular product from all over the globe, and these tweets were captured on a web microsite, with a real-time timeline that constantly updated the number of tweets as they came in. Whichever tweeter’s number corresponded to a pre-assigned number, was rewarded a Shoppers Stop product! Imagine a total of 25, 000 tweets in just two days at the culmination of the Twitter Visualization campaign.
