In March 2016, KFC launched the 5-in-1 Meal Box with the objective of providing an abundant complete meal at an affordable price. While other QSR brands offered 3 food items in a meal combo, the KFC 5-in-1 Meal box packed 5 finger lickin' items. Our task was to show how the KFC 5-in-1 Meal Box was the most power packed meal box in the market. To show how the KFC 5-in-1 Meal Box, which packed more food items than any competitor, was the most power-packed meal out there, we decided to solve a dilemma most of us can relate to - never having a charger around when you need one! The struggle is real, but we had the solution. We amped up the power of the KFC meal boxes by packing another item: A detachable inbuilt power bank. Known as the ‘Watt A Box’, these limited edition boxes would not only provide you with a fulfilling meal but also charge your smartphone! The result? We got consumers to 'rethink what a meal box can do.'
