Asian Paints wanted to go further than colour swatches to give their customers a proper picture of the resulting finish of paint on their walls — they wanted to make a splash! With that idea painted across the four walls of our mind, we came up with the concept of manifestation using visual mapping. Contract Advertising helped us set-up a mock furnished room at City Centre Mall in Chennai to create the magic. Assisted by 3D mapping technology, at the press of a button each item in the room was masked in an individual style, approach and colour. In all, there were eight projections for eight ideal rooms! Onlookers could grab the iPad controls, browse and switch the projections as they wished, lingering over the ones they liked. In turn, the campaign generated 2,000 leads for the brand that were eager to try out Asian Paints Royale Play.
